January Challenge

Why not challenge yourself this January and help those in need…….

Beverly Gow and Sian Thomas have been hatching an evil plan. They want you to push yourself throughout January to build up your fitness and be able to complete a fitness challenge that culminates on Sunday 31st January.

Bev will be publishing a training plan she has created and will be posting a series of daily exercises on our Facebook page through the month starting on New Years Day. By the end of January, your challenge, should you wish to accept is to complete the following:

Bev will also have lots of modifications, to adapt the exercises if you think you may struggle on anything. Enrol at any time before the 31st January by completing the sign-up sheet -> here <- or alternatively you can use the QR code below.

The entry fee is 1 item to your nearest foodbank. You can miss a training day, but if you miss two training days on the trot you will need to pop another tin into your nearest foodbank. On 31st January Bev will open up an all day Zoom call so we can pop in during the day at any point to motivate each other with the squats, push ups and sits ups. Depending on Covid tier restrictions we can hopefully set off in Socially Distanced groups on our first and last mile run together. We will aim to complete the last mile at 4pm as sunset is 4:50pm.
